The Orlando Consort presents a rich program of music by some of the finest composers of the 15^th century, including ground-breaking works by Guillaume Dufay, beguiling songs by Antoine Busnois, and profound sacred music by Loyset Compère. Serving successive Dukes of Burgundy, these composers and many others flourished under a system of opulent patronage, developing sophisticated and beautiful music that paved the way for the musical glories of the Renaissance.
