Summer Chamber Music Workshop

Madison Bach Musicians is excited to offer a Summer Chamber Music Workshop over four days in July focusing on historically informed performance of baroque and classical music. This workshop is open to intermediate and advanced players of flute, recorder, violin, viola, cello, piano, fortepiano and harpsichord instruments who are high school age and older.

Participants will be assigned to an ensemble group based on ability and music will be sent in advance to allow musicians to practice and learn their parts beforehand. The workshop will include ensemble coaching and rehearsal times, master classes, group lunches, a faculty concert and a final closing concert for a supportive and appreciative audience. And for the second year, we will be including a dance and movement class exploring the rhythms of Baroque dances!
