Soprano soloist Alisa Jordheim will be joined by oboist Aaron Hill and a baroque string ensemble in Bach’s lyrical masterpiece Cantata BWV 32 “Liebster Jesu, mein Verlangen.” MBM concertmaster Kangwon Kim will be the featured violin soloist in “Winter” from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons.”

So many early madrigals — the iconic Italian genre from the Renaissance — were built upon the works of composers from other places. We will feature a bouquet of these works that outline the development of madrigals.
